Hello. I'm a writer and I write Social Studies and History curriculum for school districts nationwide, and I write for a paranormal magazine. I also run two Etsy shops where I sell vintage clothes, jewelry, home goods, and vintage Christmas decor.
I love going to estate sales and yard sales, and the occasional date night, but mostly I just relax when I am not working. I'm very much a homebody, unless I am traveling. My dachshunds, Wallace Biggie Paws and Coco Bean, keep me company. I love to put on a big, comfy sweatshirt, make a cup of Sumatra coffee or tea (rooibos or chamomile), and play board games, read, watch TV, or listen to podcasts while I scroll Reddit. The shows I enjoy are Friends, RuPaul's Drag Race, The Golden Girls, history documentaries, and cooking competitions. I like reading and I love John Steinbeck. He is my absolute favorite, and I like collecting old copies of his novels. Dashiell Hammett, Nikoli Gogol, and Barbara Kingsolver are some other authors I like. Also, my husband and I love going to art museums and collecting prints and art books. My favorite artists are Wassily Kandinsky, Alphonse Mucha, and Paul Klee.
And now here is just a random list of things I like and that bring me joy: traveling (especially to Europe and Las Vegas), vintage things, dragonflies, tarot themed items, tarot and oracle cards, cute carrots and things with carrots on them, dachshunds, Christmas, Russian history, WWI history, board games, vinatge stamps, vintage Sarah Coventry jewelry, cute stationary, flair pens, the Denver Nuggets, mid century decor, comfy pjs and large sweatshirts, art nouveau and art deco, Russian literature, classic novels, unscented candles and flamless candles, history and Social Studies, puns, and 15 ounce/16 ounce coffee mugs.
Please be aware!!! - anything that has a scent or fragrance can give me a massive migraine. Even natrual scents. So please nothing with scents/smells/frangrance. Also, both of my dogs have sensitive tummies, so please do not send them any food or snacks. Thank you!
