This was my first SS exchange and was overall such an incredible experience. I had heard about some people not getting anything from their SS, so I was a little worried that it would happen to me. Not only did my Santa come through, they went above and beyond to provide all these thoughtful gifts for me and even included gifts for my cat!

My cat hasn't been completely herself recently and had an exam and blood test done at a vet over the weekend. I had gotten the results back this evening that her blood test results were very abnormal and needs further diagnosis with an internal medicine specialist that could cost at least $1,500-$2,000. The vet said that she may possibly have a stomach inflammation, kidney problems, or cancer. You can imagine how I felt receiving this news. Shortly after, I received this generous SS package filled with gifts that not only fulfilled my interests but also made my cat be her energetic, playful self again for a moment.

100% REAL ALPACA FUR SCARF: I've always wanted alpaca fur anything but never was able to pull the trigger to get it for myself. It's now the softest thing I own and I will use this frequently, especially in these cold winter months ahead! I LOVE it and apparently so did my cat because she instantly started batting at it when I took it out of the plastic bag. The bookmark is also very nice!
TOTORO MASK: I absolutely love Totoro, and this is such a practical and awesome gift given the current environment.
JAPANESE CANDY/SNACK ASSORTMENT: I'm a fan of Japanese candy/snacks, and it was great to see so many different kinds in this package. I will thoroughly enjoy every single one.
VARIETY OF CAT TOYS: My cat went crazy sniffing at each toy and was ecstatic over the wand, springs, and tunnel. For a moment, I forgot all about the vet news and just played with her. It brought a huge smile to my face seeing her be energetic again.

EDIT: Santa, you've absolutely made my day again! I was in shock after receiving these two additional amazing gifts today since you've already been so generous with the initial gifts. I'm in alpaca fur heaven right now and love this adorable alpaca teddy bear! This Pusheen at Home plush is perfect, and you've totally nailed it! I love the notes that you've included with each thoughtful gift. As I'm anxiously sitting here waiting for my cat's ER visit outcome, you've helped bring some joy during this rough period. I'm going cherish all of these gifts, and they'll be a great reminder to what an awesome Santa you are and how you've made my first SS exchange such a wonderful and memorable experience.

EDIT 2: Santa, you continue to amaze me. I'm completely blown away by the additional gifts that came to me. If your goal was to make your giftee happy and to bring on some onion-cutting moments, you've definitely succeeded. I'm very grateful for the thought and time you put into picking out all these gifts, and I absolutely love them all including reading your notes with each one. These gifts really touched my heart. I have multiple cookbooks but not this Tasty one so I'm excited to add it to my collection and try out their recipes! I don't have many food photography backdrops at the moment, so the ones you gifted will be very useful. You're very sweet to also include a $50 Benihana gift card for my birthday since I couldn't continue the annual tradition this month. I will certainly use and enjoy it later!
