24M, First time doing an exchange, so I don't know exactly what to write: I'm a researcher in biology. In a couple of months I will be moving to my first appartment, so I can use some home decorations. In my room are currently hanging a couple of the NASA tourism posters (https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/682/space-tourism-posters/), but nature inspired posters with a retro look I do find interesting and very nice, I will be living alone and will have to learn how to cook so an easy to follow cookbook might be a nice addition to my life, I am trying to lower my meat consumption, so perhaps something vegetarian. I also try to think of the climate/ be sustainable. In my free time I like reading books (mostly sci-fi and fantasy). I prefer reading books in english if it is the original language of the work. Favourite series is Discworld. I already own some of the (hardcover) books though (Eric, Mort, Guards,Guards; Reaper man, Soul Music and Maurice and his educated rodents). However I think Gaiman is my favourite author (but I own all of the books :)) With regards to sci-fi I recently bought Becky Chambers first book from the wayfarer series and 'to be taught, if fortunate' and loved both. (you can stalk my goodreads account under my real name if you want to be sure which books I have read, read list is up to date, my want-to-read not completely, it might have some books in it I wanted to read more than 6 years ago) Currently I travel quite some distance from home to my job on public transportation which is when I often read those books or listen to music. At home I do have a (small) vinyl collection, My favourite artists of which I don't have (a lot of) vinyls are Sam Fender, The War on Drugs (I own live drugs), James Blake, EDEN, Dijon, Labrinth. Bon Iver is my favourite artist (but I already own BI,BI 10y deluxe, 22 a Million and related to that big red machine albums) . I would say I mostly listen to indie pop and rock. I also like gaming both as a board game (favourites include Everdell, of which I own the complete collection, and Agricola to give you an idea of what kind of games I like) or on a console (recently bought a PS5, but I currently only have 2 games: Fifa 23 (to play with friends lol, kinda regret it with the whole Qatar situation right now) and AC odyssey. Related to this, I might have a weird obsession with the Trojan war (#Team Troy), I mostly like singleplayer RPG's or indiegames: games like Stray or outer wilds interest me just to name some examples. Everyday I drink at least a cup of tea and most of the times more. I also like to experiment with flavours and try different things. As my likes and dislikes don't seem to be saving, I'll write them down: Likes: Books, sweets, Foxes, colour green Dislikes: Coffee, maybe clothes (I am quite tall so normal clothes might not fit me very well).
