I’m an artist by trade (glass artist), currently working full time and just finished a certificate in graphic design through the local university. Now that I’m not ‘in school’ anymore (which is such a foreign concept 😂) I’m back to learning languages - Portuguese, German, Zulu, and Afrikaans (both in person practice - Afrikaans, and good ol’ DuoLingo- for the other three!) I travel a lot, and I love it! (Though I haven’t done as much in the last few years, thanks COV!D) :( I sing, play guitar and ukulele, and my main hobby is picking up new hobbies ;) so I’m constantly learning new skills/ tinkering around with things. I’ve recently joined two different book clubs (honestly, I have no idea how I ended up in two different ones!🤦🏻‍♀️ 🤷🏻‍♀️), and during lockdown, taught myself how to fly fish and carve spoons. I also love stand up paddle boarding, making clothes, pottery (wheel throwing), knitting, making stained glass, and D&D.
I just got diagnosed with adult ADHD- inattentive, so doing lots of reading and research and figuring out my new ‘normal’.
