A collection of ghoulish delights!

So, I told my gifter a bit that I was a darkly inclined horror fan. Like, grew up obsessed with monsters, been to all sorts of odd locations like The Mystery Spot and The Winchester Mystery House, and have particular tastes in horror media. So, I was pleased with all of these.

I love the little skull! It looks like he's had horns ripped out of his head, and the expression he's making is priceless. I am taking name suggestions. But either way, I'm happy to have him in my house. Fun fact about me: one of my dreams is to eventually fully spookify my house year-round with all sorts of dark decorations. I'm still in the progress of collecting decorations and other things that suit my tastes, so it was definitely up my alley!

I said I was always in the market for horror recs, so I got two DVDs! I actually haven't seen either of these yet, and they both sound up my alley. Pumpkinhead seems like a good illustration of one reason why I enjoy horror: it can be extremely creative in ways that other genres can't! Plus, Stan Winston worked on it, and Jurassic Park is one of my favorite not-horror movies. Also, also, I like a lot of 80s things in general. Looking up Feast, and it sounds ridiculous in the best way imaginable while still being horrifying. Which is honestly part of the tastes I mentioned when I talked about my likes in horror! I feel like I'll have a fun time watching these with my cats.

Thank you so much paranormal santa! <3
