THANK YOU to my Amazing Hometown Gifter in Alabama!

Where do I even start... my hometown gifter was so generous! Each item sent was personally chosen, and reflected the region my gifter is from. I had never in my life heard of WHITE SAUCE before, and I can't wait to figure out what to cook with it. Who kneew? The artisan seasoning is exciting - can't wait to use that for all the BBQ's this summer.. and the handmade choclates are to die for! WOW sooo good. Also included was a sweet handwritten note explaining the story behind each one of the gifts. What a great exchange experience - I love the insight that gifts like these give about life in other parts of our country, and the thought and care that goes into sharing our regional specialties. I think this is a big part of the exchange for me..and the part I appreciate most... the cultural exchange and personal connection we experience thru sharing things from where we live.
