My wonderful Santa reached out to me to ask me more detailed about my preferences before ordering my gifts and I really appreciate that.

Today my gifts arrived and I'm superhappy about their choice! Since I first read Anne Frank's Diary at the age of eight, I'm a huge admirer of her. I bought a lot of books and even visited the Anne Frank-house in Amsterdam. There are a few books and DVDs dealing with Anne that I don't have so far and my Santa decided to send me "Little people, big dreams: Anne Frank" :-) This book contains beautiful drawings and Anne's story made up in a "reduced" way, so that also small children can comprehend it. It's very important to keep the memory and Anne's story alive and to teach it to the following generations.

The second gift is the book "Wie war's früher? - Kinder erzählen Weltgeschichte" from DK-publishing house. It's so, so great! We already have "Kinder aus aller Welt" from DK and it's one of my kids' favourite books. I'm sure, this book will also become very popular with them. I love, how it is structured. In most chapters, a child from a special country tells about his/her life in a special era/epoch. So it has a "personal" touch instead of being too theoretical. I love that.

Thanks a lot, dear Santa, for these fantastic books! :-)
