A great book on a time period I want to learn more about!

I am so happy with the book my gifter sent me! I love all time periods in history, but I usually focus more on modern history, so I don't know much about pre-medieval period, although I am fascinated by archaeology. The book my gifter sent me is a gorgeous book, very detailed, with a lot of illustrations (I love all the maps!) and written by an expert in the field. I can't wait to read it!
