Thoughtful gifts and beautifully wrapped!

I received the most thoughtful package today from my gifter! Everything was beautifully wrapped and quite pretty. My gifter included a handwritten note explaining their choices. I really appreciated the thought and care that went into selecting the gifts (along with the time they took to write the note!). My holidays are spent with family and my gifter picked two items that fit right into that theme. The first is a Christmas ornament that has room for a photo. We actually add one (a family photo ornament) every year to our tree. I was delighted to open this ornament as I did not have a 2023 one yet. The hard part will be taking a good family photo to put inside :) The second item fitting the family theme is the "12 days" card game. I have never played this game before and I am excited to learn! My gifter shared that it is a game that is easy to learn and teach to others which will be helpful. Also, as I was reading my gifter's note I realized that while my family does play lots of games during Christmas, we don't have any holiday themed games! I am excited to add this one into the mix. The last gift that my gifter picked out for me is a pair of bird stud earrings. I absolutely love them and I look forward to wearing them (don't worry- they are totally my style :) !
