Utterly Blown Away- 3 month subscription to "Box of Books"!!!

Today I received an incredible gift from my Happy Holidays rematch gifter. When I went to pick up my mail I was greeted by a heavy, bright green box. (I'm pretty sure I squealed with delight when I opened it!) Inside were three books, a cute little bookmark, some adorable flower magnets, and a Fidalgo Coffee Seacoast Blend! The first book is "Pinch of Nom" by Kate Allinson and Kay Featherstone. I really enjoy cooking and baking with my family. There are several recipes that caught my eye. It has been cold here lately so I think I will test out the soups and stews chapter of the book first! The second book is "Cane River" by Lalita Tademy. From the back cover it looks like a generational historical fiction based on the author's research of her family. The third book is "This Tender Land" by William Kent Krueger, a Great Depression era story about four orphans traveling down the Mississippi river. I love historical fiction and I am so excited to read these books! This box was/is magic and brought the biggest smile to my face. The last thing tucked inside the box was a note that I had been gifted three of these boxes-three! Meaning two more will be shipping out in the next few months. My rematch gifter truly went above and beyond and made this exchange extra special. I will absolutely post pictures of the boxes as they arrive. On a related note, I had never heard of "Box of Books" before this and out of curiosity, looked them up. I love that it is run by a small, independent book store! They seem dedicated to making every box unique to the individual which is really cool.
To my gifter, I am extremely grateful for your generosity. This lit up my day and I can't wait to share what comes next!
Update #1 I really enjoyed reading "This Tender Land!" As promised, I am posted an image of the second box! This package contained two books: "The Orphan Witch" by Paige Crutcher and "Fifty Words for Rain" by Asha Lemmie. I think I am going to start with "The Orphan Witch" :) The box also contained some tea (a black/green tea hybrid which sounds delightful), a magnet, and a paperback book holder. I am surprised I didn't have a book holder already and I am excited to have a tool that will make knitting and reading at the same time far more manageable. Lastly, the goodies arrived in a reusable tote! This was such a fun box and I am excited to get reading!
Update #2 The Orphan Witch was a cute story. Today I received the third box. This box contained two books: "A Secret History of Witches" and "The Nature of Fragile Things.". There was also an assortment of goodies: post-it notes, bookmark, bookaholic charm, coffee, password keeper, and pen! This was such a fantastic gift and I have enjoyed every box!
