Rematch Gifter went above and beyond!

My rematch gifter came through in a big way and shared a lot of the Christmas treats and traditions that are important to their family. Everything arrived beautifully wrapped and we had a great time going through all the gifts. Gingerbread cookies are my favorite Christmastime snack and there has been a severe scarcity in the stores around my house so I was very happy to see two packages of Wicklein gingerbread cookies. They will not last long. Marzipan and peppermint bark are also holiday favorites and we always like to try Japanese snacks and candy so the gummies were a great inclusion as well. Maybe most important, boozy desserts are always welcome in our household and we are very excited to try the chocolate Guinness mini pints and cherries in kirshe, and of course the other chocolates. My rematch gifter sent me some books on my wishlist, including some classic horror novels which are always welcome around the holidays. They also sent me a book they are currently reading, Before the Coffee Gets Cold, which from the non-spoiler blurbs I've read sounds like a fantasy-realism novel with time travel elements and right up my alley. I will be reading it over the holiday weekend. Finally, I also watch A Christmas Story every year on TBS and now I don't have to wait! Love this movie, never owned a copy so thank you very much for sending.
