I received this awesome canvas print of the movie poster from Spirited Away. This was the first anime movie I watched in theaters as a kid, as well as one of the few times my family has joined me in watching anime, so it means all the more to me. I also love the subtle design to it. It's not a screenshot, but more a display of the elements within the movie, which is exactly my type of thing.
Santa also included a note saying there will be a more personalized gift also coming in the future! ////
Part 2 Just got a package on the mail from a seller named WishUponAStar! I had no idea what it was, as while I knew there was a second part to the gift, I wasn't expecting a book-sized gift. Upon opening, I find a note that says each item is made of real wood. Now I'm curious. I carefully untied the knot and unfolded the package to find... a black painted block?
I turn it over to find this beautiful quote from my absolute favorite Ghibli movie (and honestly one of my favorite movies of all time), Whisper of the Heart. This is exactly the kind of quote and gift I need. I was just thinking about how I need something to keep me happy, to remind myself to see the joy and color in things. AND this is a custom piece!! And on top of this, you supported a small artist by this gift as well!
