Really cool and really cute!

Santa I'm so sorry for opening these gifts so late! My santa told me there would be 2 gifts, one from amazon and one from etsy, and indeed a big box arrived from amazon and a few days later a small envelope from someone named 'Eric'. I assumed this was the thing from Etsy, but I didn't immediately have time to open everything and write this post, so both gifts have been sitting in my house for days. I'm so sorry for being late Santa!

The little envelope really intrigues me, but I decide to open the big box first, because that one came first in the mail. Opening it up shows a lovely purple giftwrap with shiny silver accents and a lovely silver ribbon on it. It's exceedingly cute! I always save and re-use giftwrap when possible, out of environmental concerns. But I might just keep this bag for myself and use it to store something :). It has a lovely little gift note on it: The note says that my gifter had a hard time finding a gift for me, but decided on the contents of the gift bag on a recommendation from someone else. Ah santa, I was worried I'm difficult to shop for, I know I've read an awful lot of fantasy already!

I can't wait to open the bag, so after reading the gift note I pull the ribbon to loosen the bow. Looking inside of the bag I can see that it's a hardcover book, that's very fancy! I pull it out to find it's called 'Child of a Mad God'. I have not heard of this book, but the tagline 'One Girl will break the world' sounds pretty cool, I'm sure this is right up my alley! Looking a bit further I recognize the name of the writer, R.A. Salvatore! Someone way back when sent me one of their books for a redditgifts exchange, and I really enjoyed it. This book seems to be set in another world than the one I read, and it has other characters, so there will probably be a lot to discover! I can't wait to read it, thank you santa! I'm pretty sure that whoever recommended this to you did a great job!

I couldn't resist moving on right away to the little envelope, tearing open the top. The envelope contains one thing: a small plastic baggie. The outside is black and the inside is iridescent, so in front the inside is framed nicely, and it shows the contents: A super cute no face figure! After opening the little bag and taking it out I see that it's a little pin! That's really cute! No Face is holding a watermelon and looking slightly off to the side and that makes it look even cuter :P. It makes me want to watch Spirited Away again, I really should do that :).

Only after taking all the pictures I found out that No Face still had a little protection layer on, taking it off made the pin look extremely shiny and wonderful!

Thank you so much Santa, I hope you had fun even though I was a bit difficult to shop for. You did really well, I love everything a lot! Thank you!
