Absolutely blown away!

I'm a little emotional that my Gifter took so much care in selecting gifts for us! Not only was everything wrapped beautifully (our cat thanks you, too!), but I could tell that they were all picked from different shops and that my Gifter put a lot of time and effort into finding the PERFECT things!

We are painting today! My daughter received a unicorn themed painting kit along with an adorable ducky apron and sleeve protectors. She loved them (insisted on modeling them) and I can tell they'll get a lot of use!

THAT would have been a perfect gift all by itself. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

My son has a foam ship to build! My Gifter couldn't have possibly known, but we have bookends that are made with material from the U.S.S. Constitution... the same ship that we get to build!

And yet, my favorite part, simple as it is... is a bookmark with a quote from The Song of Achilles. I didn't mention that it's one of my favorite books in this exchange, but perhaps my Gifter was resourceful. ;-) The gold flecks and veins in the wrist are absolutely beautiful. It's already proudly displayed next to my hardcover copy and fan art! <3

This is not to mention the other fantastic things included in the box! I love that they foster a love of reading and creating. I can't wait to light the little candles and hang the beautiful suncatcher.

Thank you SO much, Gifter! You really made our day and we feel so spoiled! <3
