Today I was surprised to receive 2 new cookbooks! I LOVE reading cookbooks, especially ones that aren’t just recipes, but tell a story. The first cookbook is The Martha Washington Cookbook- I have a love for history, so the stories and unique recipes really interest me! Now I have to find gooseberries hahaha! The second cookbook was called The Lake Michigan Cottage Cookbook - it contains recipes from familiar farms and restaurants as we live not too far from the lake! Thank you for such thoughtful gifts- can’t wait to dig in!
