The post office gave me the package upside down, I carried it home upside down, and I set it on my table upside down. Only when I started opening it I noticed what I had missed: Very cute, thematically appropriate decorations, and a combination of ribbon and wax seal that are quite reminiscent of the gift I sent out myself in December and posted on reddit. (So I'm curious if that was intentional.)

Within was a letter with an even nicer seal, and two books I'm looking forward to read, one newly published late last year with an intriguing description, and one that has been well known for decades, but I've never gotten around to read.
