I was really waiting for my gift, but it didn't arrive. Turns out the mailman had delivered it to the neighbours and had put the notification into my open bedroom window instead of into the letterbox! Now that's a new one.

So there was a huuuuuge and beautifully wrapped parcel waiting for me. Full to the rim with lots of lovely gifts. I'm not sure where to start because there's so much! There's a very unusual cake making kit that I have to try. Cakes are totally mandatory. A Pakistani cookbook that's been on my wishlist for ages! Oh wow, very special thanks dear Santa! A magazine from a supermarket that doesn't exist in town. Yes, I really like those for the recipes. A lot of candy! A prophetic gift: an Oreo keychain. Which I will certainly use now as I've somehow managed to lose my keys when being out and about on 31. December. I'm sure I still had then when I was close to home. A feet mask for hurting feet after long walks. and so many more things. I think my favourite is a pink building kit for a felt succulent plant! I'm not very good with plants, and I think it's mutual. This plant, once build will stay with me!

So thanks a lot dear Santa. You really made me a very happy girl. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas despite the odd times we're in and that 2021 will be great for you.
