I participated in the new years resolution exchange and originally didn't receive a gift. I was rematched though. And then all the resolutions changed somewhat because covid happened. It's still been a fab year for me so far.

Lo and behold a message from my new year resolution santa a few days ago! They'd sent me a gift after all! It's a lovely cookbook with simple Dutch recipes. Um.. the food itself is not Dutch, but there's a certain aspect of cooking that makes it Dutch, and it's perfect because it's small portions and super simple, while being tasty! I've yet to get such a book for my collection, and now I have it.

Thanks a lot dear Santa for thinking of this exchange and for choosing such an lovely, and totally unexpected gift for me.
