My santa blew me away. Let me start at the beginning...

What I let santa know is that our family has history with Journey in the 80s. I was born in the 80s and some other things that I look back was in the 80s.

A little history because you are probably wondering what is the history. My brother had Cystic Fibrosis and he met the band Journey before he passed through Make-A-Wish. His favorite song was Don’t Stop Believing. His favorite color is red. I was born 2 years after he passed. My favorite color is Blue.

Now since we up to speed let’s continue(Sorry in advance if this is very corny).

Today I had class and I came home to a little package at my doorstep. I actually said “ooo a little package” in a Disney character voice ( if you guys are wondering it was Kuzco from Emperor’s New Grove. I know it’s not 80s). I went inside and opened the box.

Read the card first. Listing the items. When it got to the Cross-stitched Journey, I was actually thinking of their logo. I was like wow.

So I went deeper there was candy. Cow tails are my favorite. Very hard to get. More like hit and miss. It makes sense now why I like them because 80s.

Deeper in the box was cabbage patch cards and a Disney pin that has Star Wars. Pins came later on BUT Star Wars did come in the 80s.

Lastly the cross-stitched. I opened it and I cried. My brother’s song mixed with my color and my brother’s together. After the tears were over, out loud I said “ wait, how did they know, wow mind blown.”

So santa thank you and you have touched my heart. Thank you so much. I will treasure it forever. Well maybe not the candy, it will spoil. Lol.
