First of all, please excuse me for posting so late. I had the book sent to my work address but was away on vacation. I drove to work yesterday to pick it up while doing groceries.

I wrote in my preferences that I would love a cookbook, and my Santa really did delivery. They chose a Japanese cook book that as been on my wish list for quite a while, and the recipes are just perfect for me. There's so much yumminess in this book! The first think I'll probably try is the pork belly recipe given in the photo, if I manage to find pork belly in the UK. This book is also perfect for me because it doesn't go down the 'how to cook a feast for the whole family' route but really has many fairly quick recipes with few ingredients that are easy to combine and to vary.
