An Abundance of Cute Cats and More!

I am a sucker for all of the cute things and for this exchange I received an overwhelming abundance of cute gifts from my Santa!! The outside of the box had cute and silly cat stickers all over it to get the fun started right away. PLUS - they wrapped up all of the gifts to make opening all of the goodies even more exciting which I don't think I've ever had outside of an actual Christmas exchange. AND - there was a quality homemade card which was precious and greatly appreciated (I especially loved the little squirrel you snuck on the card!).

First out of the box were an unwrapped eeyore keychain (which is proof of impressive time spent digging through my stuff because I don't recall mentioning my love of him in my exchange notes but is totally spot on!) and a little Squishmallow pup named Andres dressed up in a truly cute bow! The card was next which had more of the fun cat stickers for me to decorate things with. My favorite is hands down the cat with the sliced bread around their neck! :p

Then it was on to unwrapping the 4 generous gifts that were packed up! First I discovered a really nice cat shaped notepad with a pretty watercolor-looking artwork cat. I'm thinking this will be perfect to use for the notes I like to drop in the exchange gifts I snail mail out myself. Second I found a perfectly chosen tshirt that says "Books, Cats, Life is Sweet" that is in a softer fabric like I prefer. I'm sure to get compliments at work for this winning gift! Third I opened up a set of fuzzy cozy socks in fun colors with cute black kitties. I live in comfy socks like these when I'm home year round so these are a perfect choice for me! Finally, the last item had some heft to it and turned out to be a vacu-sealed item when I unwrapped it. After cutting the item free it fluffed out into a gorgeous and sizeable fuzzy blanket with a slew of cute and crazy cat faces! My husband and I had fun looking it over to decide which ones looked most like our two girls. We settled on one of the pretty orange faces for Misty and a crazier looking one with its mouth open for our chatty loudmouth Mia. Misty is a blanket thief and will defintiely try to claim this item as her own. Mia promptly claimed the box after I removed the gifts and then moved on to lounging on the unwrapped paper after I had to kick her back out of the box to transport all of my goodies! :p
