Oh my gosh!!! Before I even get into the awesome gifts my Santa sent, I just want to say that... My Santa and I actually happened to match with each other for this exchange! I had no idea until their package arrived and I realized the address/username matched up with MY giftee! I did a ton of exchanges on RedditGifts in the past and this is the first time this has happened to me! I'm so tickled and just hope that my package brought them the same smiles and happiness that theirs brought me!

Everything about this gift is so thoughtful and awesome that I'm barely sure where to start! Everything was wrapped beautifully in a nice bag and box.

I'll start off with the amazing wax seal stamps they sent - I love koi fish, so I was absolutely overjoyed when I saw the koi fish in a water lily pond stamp! I also adore the sun and cloud stamp - it's really cool and I can't wait to use them both on future letters and cards!

Next are the amazing Midori papers and notebooks! The Midori paper pad with the blue flower and silver leaf details is so pretty - I had no idea that Midori even made little paper books like this and love that it has grid ruling on the back cover so it's easier to write straight and consistently on the paper. 🙂 My Santa also sent not one, but TWO A5 Midori notebooks! I've tried one out and they're SO NICE and have grid ruling. I had a Midori planner ages ago and I absolutely enjoy these notebooks as much as my old planner.

My Santa made me FOUR of the most amazing A5 covers for these notebooks! They made the covers out of silk they got from kimono and these covers are SO incredibly beautiful and special. I feel so incredibly lucky that my Santa took the time and used their talent to make these for me and already put two of my favorite covers on the two Midori notebooks!

Next is the Esterbrook nib bookmark. I had no idea they had anything like this. I'm a huge fan of my J series Esterbrooks, so this bookmark is absolutely perfect! Also in my preferences, I mentioned that during my last move, I lost my Parker 51 - one of my old trusty, favorite vintage pens. My Santa sent another Parker model (45 if I'm not mistaken) with a lovely 14k M nib. Like my Santa said in their letter, it's not my missing 51, but it's such a sweet gesture and I'm incredibly touched. 🙂 I'm really enjoying it so far - I've inked it up with some Colorverse (Crab Nebula) ink that I got for the holidays and it writes brilliantly!

Finally, my Santa/giftee and I have a lot in common, so I think we both may have gained a new penpal from this exchange!

Thank you so much Santa - you're the absolute best and I hope we can keep in contact! 🙂
