An embarrassment of riches, and a toy for my cats! 🥰🐈🐈‍⬛🎄

Wow, I’m stunned!! Thank you so much for the amazing gifts, Santa! 🥰

• The reusable shopping bag with ball-of-yarn and cats design is super cute, and Lucas thinks so too. 😄

• The “Goodies & Extras” box was full of… goodies & extras. 🙂 I’ve laid them all out in photo thr— Lucas, what are you doing, you silly boy. Photo four, then. They included: two adorable pen stands (a fox and a penguin), a handful of inks (SKB Persimmon Red, and a colour mix from Ink Cafe), a big bag of really lovely chocolates, several Campus notebooks with a very nifty wrap-around pen case, and then a cotton cloth and several brush pens for illustrations and painting!

• In addition to the “Goodies & Extras”, there were also two gorgeous cases from Kaco. One is a 20-pen case (zips shut), which had a few more goodies inside: a Sailor Fude de Mannen (55°) a Muji Aluminium pen, a Pilot Penmanship, a Pilot V-Pen (“Always carry a decoy pen” 😄), and a number of ink converters which fit Platinum Preppys. The other is a notebook cover (elastic closure) with some blank & dated stickers, and a blank (gridded) Hobonichi notebook in old-style (machine #7) Tomoe River Paper. Wow!! What a treasure!

• And it was so thoughtful to include a rolled up bit of cardboard. Not only did it keep everything from sliding around en route, Misha loves it. 🥰

• Thank you so much, Santa!! 🥰 The thing I was most hoping for in this exchange was a better way to store my pens, and the pen case is beautiful*. All the extra goodies are, as the title of this post says, an embarrassment of riches and I can’t wait to try them all out. I’m probably most excited to play with the Fude tip on that Sailor, and also the brush pens to try doing some ink washing.
