Tis a braw cartie o' barry Scots pressies!!!!

I am completely obsessed with my Scottish heritage and my Great UK Gift Swap gifter chose some amazing gifts for me! First, I literally squealed with delight when I saw the Highland “coo” wrapping paper and had a good chuckle over the Scottish slang phrases on the card. The goodies were surrounded by plaid tissue paper, which was a nice touch. My gifter chose an absolutely gorgeous black and white thistle cameo pendant on a silver chain, an adorable tote bag with a silly wee coo on it, and a hilarious purple heather t-shirt that says “Never Run With Bagpipes, You Could Get Kilt”. 😂 They also included 3 very thoughtful books that I cannot wait to dive into!

1. Clanlands Almanac by Sam Heughan & Graham McTavish, best known for Outlander, but this book is an accompaniment for their roadtrip TV show, Men In Kilts, which I loved!
2. The Wicked Wit of Scotland, a collection of stories and quotes by Scots about Scotland, which sounds like a fun read!
3. Clan Douglas - From Warriors to Dukes is extra special and incredibly thoughful because it is the history of my clan! I am definitely excited to read this one! I absolutely loved everything so much, thank you, gifter! ❤️ This exchange will always be one my top favorites and the best part was that I inspired my gifter to learn more about “na h-Albannaich”!
