Boxes all though December

My nicely wrapped advent calendar is quite original, it's 24 boxes with very clearly marked numbers on them in really pretty patterns. I am gonna wait till December to open them for real, but I couldn't resist getting started with number one. That one holds a beautiful gem stone, with a note that says it is yellow calcite.

Thank you so much gifter! I don't know much about gem stones other then that they are really pretty and smooth to the touch, but I look forward to seeing which other ones are in there and what their names are.
