Indian vegetarian food, fits my style of cooking.

When this exchange came up I thought: oh lame! But upon thinking about it I realized I'd get a surprise from my rather long Amazon wishlist which is full of things that I might buy one day, or not. But certainly things I'm really happy about. So I took the opportunity to comb though my list on amz.co.uk and put everything that still looked interesting on my local list, now that co.uk doesn't ship to continental Europe anymore. Turns out my list is still far too big. Ho hum.

But anyway, Santa chose this book of my big list of cookbooks and history books, and I couldn't be happier. The problem with many cookbooks is that they aren't all that suitable for everyday cooking. I own Meera's other two books and totally love them as they are so useful for how I cook. This one is no exception. I was a bit worried whether I really needed another one, and now it's clear: yes, I do! The recipes are fab, quick (ish), look totally delicious and fit my style of cooking. Thanks a lot Santa. A fab choice!
