A Glimpse of Peru

My gifter sent me a heavy handmade statue with a semi-metallic glaze, a Peruvian coin, and a bag of Peruvian chocolate wafer cookies. The statue was made by the gifter, who has been working with clay for most of their life. Apparently clay work is very popular in Peru and has been for centuries! Due to the unique glaze, it looks a little different under different lighting.
