I live in Edinburgh. I work as a computer programmer and try to encourage other women into STEM employment. Outside of work, I am a passionate gamer I enjoy building and survival games like Subnautica, Slime Rancher and the Sims. I have also played lots of Starcraft and Diabolio but not as much recently. I enjoy going to the cinema, I try to go most weekends and will watch anything except horror or slapstick comedy. For my creative side, I enjoy reading mostly sci-fi but I am happy to read anything else. I also enjoy writing and taking part in the annual Nanowrimo. I am very fond of overly sour sweets such as sour patch kids. I have many plants around my flat. I have managed to grow some herbs this year which made me very happy. I hope next year to grow some flowers from blubs. Around my flat, I tend to decorate in an art deco style. My favourite artist is Mucha and I tend to paint my rooms in classic colours. Then I hung up lots of prints and art deco cards around the place. I also collect little trinks from places I travel to.
